ok Last week I got 3 positive hpt's I started bleeding sunday but it was very very light.. monday it was a little heavier. and about the same tuesday so i figured just have had a chemical pregnancy .. but my husband and I started thinking about the women who've claimed to have there period and still have been pregnant.. and since my period lasted shorter than normal and it was alot lighter than normal i decided to take another test.. it was positive although faint. I'm scared to go to the clinic here on base becuase They are completely rude and disregard hpt's and then act like your a complete idiot.. and i highly doubt they'll do a blood pregnancy test.. so i wanna know what do you guys think, and what should i do?

I'm sorry the people on the base are rude. Luckily the people I went to here on the base I work at are nice. They did bloodwork with both of my pregnancies here. I would just go in and request a pregnancy test. You don't have to tell them you had bleeding, just give them the last day of your menstrual cycle. No matter what the results, at least you'll know for sure.

P.S. With my current pregnancy I thought I had my period also, although it was also a lot lighter and shorter than normal, turns out that was just the implantation and I was indeed pregnant (I cried for nothing at the failure, then cried for joy for the positive test...we really wanted another child!!)

Good luck to you and I hope they treat you with respect, after all, their jobs are to take care of you!!!

Wait a couple of days and test again. If the test is positive, then call an OB and set up an appointment. Sounds to me like either you had a chemical pregnancy or just experienced late implantation bleeding. When I tested positive, I spotted later that same day and then again a week later. I am currently 18 weeks pregnant. Good luck!

I've delt with base clinics a lot and i would just go and say i took a hpt 4 weeks ago and it came back positive (since they will only do blood tests on someone that has been late more than 3 weeks). Do it in the morning time cause it will take them all day to give you the results.

A lot of people have "implantation bleeding" at the very beginning. Since your bleeding was pretty short, and light, it could be your case. You could wait for about a week, see if you have any bleeding and cramping, and if not take another test. I however, would find another clinic or doctor to go to. As a patient you have rights, and they should treat you with respect. Don't allow them to treat you like that!

Well, obviously something is going on if you are getting all of these + results! Go to a different clinic if you feel mistreated at the one you go to. Tell you Doctor what you told us, and maybe ask for a blood test to be sure. Yes, women can get their periods while preggo. It may have been implantation bleeding! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I would wait a few more days and then test again. If it comes out neg then it probably was a chemical pregnancy. If it comes back positive, then you are most likely pregnant.

just go in, be polite, if they are rude, take it with a grain of salt.
And try to convince them through testing and a possible period you would like a blood test to determine this. If not, schedule a Dr appt for as soon as possible with your regular physician, who CAN order these blood tests.
Best of Luck!

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had a period right before I found out. And mine are really bad I don't see how she made it. What you are experiencing could be implantion bledding, it comes around the time you expect your preiod and is usually very light and TOTALLY NORMAL, so don't freak out!!!! It'll be fine!
