~Maybe you should google Wales, Gaius Suetonius Paulinus or Boudica (or Boadicea) or even Prasutagus and Iceni if you are really interested.

Queen Boadicea

Boadicea (also spelled Boudicca or Boudica) was born into a royal family around 26 A.D. She married Prasutagus, king of the Iceni, a tribe located in what is now Norfolk, England. Prasutagus was a client-king, meaning he ruled under the auspices of the Romans, who had probably put him on the throne in return for his assistance when they invaded England in 43.

The difficulty you may have here is the two accepted spellings of her name are Boudicca or Boadecia. She was the widow of the chief of the Iceni tribe in England when the Romans came in. She refused to cede her tribal land to them, and they whipped her and raped her young daughters in front of the tribe. She then led a long and (unfortunately) unsuccessful revolt against the Romans. Mainly unsuccessful due to some local chieftains not joining her in the fight.
