registro civil is the civil registers office. like....the county clerks office...where you get the license. each state in mexico has different laws, i would suggest looking online. some are very complicated...such as you need blood tests, and upper torso xrays. yes....i said upper torso xrays. don't ask me why. also, you'll need translations of all your US documentation....official ones, not ones you had a friend do. such as your passport, birth certificate, proof of any divorces you may have had, etc...
