There isn't any way that he will be elected. Americans wont stand for it because of his religion. Just stating a fact...he doesn't have a chance.

He will be a good human being first, who fears God, but would also be a good President. There is no reason to say one would take precedent over the other, because they can work hand-in-hand. Certainly, the leadership of the Mormon church wouldn't have any impact.

He seems to do an okay job of separating religious beliefs from political beliefs.
I think he would be a President first and a Mormon second.

What does that even mean? there have been many religious presidents. how is Mormonism that much different? They will believe in that whole Jesus story, so they are basically Christians.

No, they said the same thing about JFK because he was a Catholic. He is no zealot. Just a good man with a good family and high moral standards.
I don't know if I will vote for him or not, yet but I would not be upset if he wins.

If by being a "Mormon first" you mean, will he consult Salt Lake before making any executive decisions, then no, I don't think that at all.

What and having good values and morals while governing the country is a bad thing. People are people and the job they do is not based on their religion. But the choices in life are.

Don't worry about him being too Mormon.
His problem is because he was NOT following some Mormon beliefs while Gov.
He was following liberal beliefs.
Freedom Lovers do not like any politician that has proclaimed liberal beliefs.
