I always get confused whether i'm going to move the steering wheel left or right. If I want to back up and and end up to the right do I move the steering wheel left. Ugh im so confused

Get in the car in a nice empty lot and practice. You don't learn to drive by reading advice. You learn by driving.

Think of it as turning the wheel the way you want the car to go. Whether going forward or in reverse pulling down on the left side of the wheel causes the car to go left, down on the right side makes it go right.

Don't overthink the problem!

The left side of the wheel causes the car to go left, down on the right side makes it go right.

yeah what they said and if you have that hard a time with it find an empty parking lot and practice practice practice...wait til you try to back a trailer up

better to use the bus mate.....................haha
if you want to go right..........turn right
if you want to go left.............turn left
foward or reverse.................its all the same
