how do i activate my floppy driver as it is not showing on my computer and the green light keeps staying on please help i have tried and tried someone please help me

Try reversing the ribbon cable at the floppy drive end.
The red line on the ribbon cable should be farthest away from the power connector.

When did this start? If the light is on you have the floppy cable the other way. The floppy cable in not fool proof so perhaps someone inserted the cable the wrong way.

If you had it disconnected turn the ribbon cable over The light stays on when the cable is in upside-down

cable is either upside-down or moved to the left one pin. Either will cause the light to stay on.
