Henry Lee was Asian despite the fact he was an American. Why the media obssesed with Cho was as from South Korea? Sort of like for triggering hatred and malice between both part? Oxymoron media.

I agree with Joseph, besides Henry Lee there was Partahi Lombatoruan who was from Indonesia. Do you really think Indonesia is in Europe?

Nope. It could've been anyone. Pointing the finger at any one Nationality- is moronic. V.T. has students attending it from all over the world- & the shooter made NO exceptions of who he shot. Why should WE single his nationality out -when HE didn't??! The guy wanted "numbers" -& who they WERE -were aLL the same to him.

I don't think anyone's blaming South Korea for this tragedy. The family moved to the U.S. more than 10 years ago, so he was raised mostly in the American school system. And South Korea is an American ally.

The media is looking and investigating Cho, and he happens to be Korean. They're investigate his upbringing, cultural issues, his schoolwork, his family, his medical history, etc... There's going to be a lot of ideas floating around, but he apparently mailed a video to NBC News so we might get a better idea about him and his intentions.

Who is blaming South Korea anyway? This was done by one very sick, misguided person who desperately needed psychiatric treatment. Why does everything have to come down to race?

I agree. Considering his last name being "Lee," it's possible that he is Korean as well.
