If you have taken pregnancy tests and they're negative, despite the fact that your period is a week late...my guess would be that it's quite possible that you ovulated late, or maybe haven't ovulated at all this cycle. Sometimes our bodies do that, and it pushes our periods back, so they seem late, when in reality they are not.

The other possibility is that you are pregnant, and your body is just taking a long time to build up the HCG in your system. If you really want to know if you're pregnant or not right now, you can get your doctor to draw a blood test to find out. They are a lot more sensitive than urine tests, and can tell right away. Just make sure they do the HCG blood test where it shows the exact amount of HCG in your system, because it's more reliable than the other blood test they do that just comes back positive or negative. That one can give false negatives if you're really early, so you want to know how much HCG is there, if any.

The only way you can really keep track of your cycle is to take your basal temperature every morning and chart it. Your temp will spike the day after you ovulate, letting you know when it happens. Otherwise, it's a complete guessing game, unfortunately, like the one you're in now.

Waiting is part of the deal. Don't just keep taking tests. Wait awhile before taking another test. In the meantime, don't worry. Worry will not undo a pregnancy. Worry will not cause a pregnancy. Just wait.

You should be able to take a home pregnancy test, without a problem since you are already late. You also may be stressing yourself out, causing you to miss your period. Best of Luck

Try not stressing over it... Oh man, if I could count the months that I have stressed over not getting my period, and then I ease off, and it comes! Lol. Nah, seriously, I am in your position too. I have a 20 mnth old, and I have had a couple of scares. As much as I hate to say it, the only thing you can do is wait, and hope to see something!

you gotta wait 15 days from last missed period for a pregnancy test to be accurate

without a test result we are all just guessing - you will need a blood test to be sure.
