The most harmful components, though, are the hormones.
No healthy woman in her reproductive years should be taking synthetic chemicals that supress her ovulation month after month. And the side effects! Why do women put themselves through this simply so men can have sex on demand without consequences??
Everyone seems to think "natural is better," except when it comes to birth control.....
By the way, the article you posted says it is "hormone replacement therapy" which uses horse urine. The pill use synthetic derivatives.

True as can be. They breed a mare and then keep them stalled with a pouch catching their urine.
I have rescued 3 PMU mares from Canada. Since there are many other types of birth control available now, the pill is no longer in great demand and the mares are being shipped to slaughter. There are many different rescue organizations for the mares and unwanted foals.

Not true. Birth control pills are synthetically derived. It was hormone replacement pills and a couple of other drugs that are derived from horse urine. Most, but not all, of these are now synthetically produced.
What is your point of your question?
In response to a previous poster's comment, natural is not necessarily better. Just different. I would add that there is another name for natural birth control. It's called Parents!

That sounds a little crazy... but if you think whats in the typical toothpaste, it doesn't surprise me about the pill.
(some eye makeup has bat feces in it, too.)

Actually it is premarin (Estrogen) that is derived from prenant mare urine.
