No you cannot.Under federal law,no convicted felon can legally purchase a gun.You must first have the felony expunged from the record.I do not know how that is done,but it is done.

No person in any state can ever buy or possess a firearm with a felony conviction. If you possess one now, don't boast about it. You will do serious time. Know this, a felon is marked for life and it goes on record with every law enforcement agency, NCIC and CODIS.

Convicted felons can't possess a handgun anywhere in the United States.

Sorry dude, the answer is NO! under federal law you can't even (legally) own a BB gun. Have you tried getting a Gov. Pardon? Then you can own a gun.
