I need a product that allows users to share notes, calendars, etc over a server. We are a small company that needs to be able to communicate with other and update a common file that is viewable to all users. Also need a feature to schedule daily tasks/activities and be able to view and update over a network. Basically, there are 3 of us that need to all have access to this program. The ability to send it to a Palm would be nice.

Sounds like what you want is Microsoft Outlook and Excahange server. It will allow you to schedule meetings, share notes, Calendar, and send email.

All you need to do is use the features built into My Yahoo. Shared calendar, notes, even Email.
Each employee just has to sign up for a free Yahoo mail account. Then, click the My Yahoo Icon and customize it to your individual AND group needs.
The shared calendar is amazing!
I have set this type of system up for a number of companies and they love it. The best thing about it is you can access all the info from any computer in the world!

The answer above me is not correct as it for a small business I'm sure that you won't be using a domain. A server OS would not help you in that aspect. I would search for a program over the internet that you can download for free. For the files that you want to share you will want to right click on the file to be shared, click on Sharing and Security. Share the file, and map a network drive on every PC that needs to connect to that file.
