Thrilled about the ruling. Saddened that some would defend the barbaric practice.

because of this determination all of us, each and every of the girl in this u . s . a . have lost our top to do what we would like with our bodies. so a good distance as i understand a fetus isn't a citizen of this u . s . a . and does not have rights. i grew to become into very, very unhappy and offended once I heard of this determination. that's a extensive step backward for females human beings's rights. What top will the court docket eliminate from woman next? How can somebody else made a determination on what i will do with something transforming into in my physique? This determination won't supply up or decrease the numbers of abortions at any degree, merely make human beings seek for, now unlawful (as for this reason of this determination) tips about a thank you to get the technique executed, techniques that are risky! There should not be any regulation in this difficulty, for or against. that's my determination if i want a required or elected surgical treatment, no person elses! I merely left this posting and study contained in direction of the full court docket determination. This determination purely placed regulations on partial delivery abortion, it does not make partial delivery abortion unlawful. that's a political nightmare! What a waste of tax payers money! What a abuse of the ability of this administration!

I still strongly dissagree with the courts decision. I feel it is the womans choice and it's my body. I have never been pregnant (i'm waiting for marriage) but I know I am not ready.if there's some complication along the way I want to be able to say, "no, this is not the life I want my child to have, and I can't handle the financial burden." I respect adverse opinions, but I believe I have the right to choose what's best for my body and my baby. I don't think that decision or the procedure should be pulled from my reach should I need it.
As far as I know, pregnancy and birthing has caused more complications than abortion. women who need this procedure are aware of the risks and it's up to them to decide.

I'm glad about the decision but they can still cut up the baby into little pieces and take it out limb by limb. Disgusting! And we don't think our society is barbaric?
And regarding the health of the mother theory. You can still do the more typical procedure that I mentioned above (Dilation and Evacuation). They cut off one leg and pull it out, then the other, then the arms, then the abdomen is taken out in pieces and finally the head. So...anyone who wants an abortion can still choose this option.
I am against abortion unless the life of the mother is really at risk such as a fallopian tube pregnancy.

They only upheld a ban on a particular procedure that was excessivly gruesome (but somehow REALLY supported by the "right to chose" crowd). But yes I am glad they ruled the way they did. Only the legislature can make an act illegal, the judicial only rules whether or not it is constitutional.
The procedure would "partially" expose the child (fetus to make libs feel better) and crush its skull or cut a hole in it.
nice huh?
ADD; Yeah thumbs down the guy who thinks the procedure above should NOT be performed. Why I will NEVER be a liberal.

Yeah I am pro choice but I am definately behind that. A partial birth abortion is disturbing, I do not understand them. At that point in the pregnancy the fetus is viable outside of the womb. Why not sacrifice the extra two months of your life and put the baby up for adoption to someone who wants it.

Yup, it is good to see conservative justices overturning the unconstitutional "laws" of past liberal justices. And don't throw all women in with the baby killers, I know mothers who love their children so much they would have and still would give their lives to protect their families, not pay someone to kill their family member. It is the first step in overturning Roe v.Wade and clearing the way for abortion to be handled the way it should have been from the beginning, elections, and most probably, due to the great differences we would see among the states' different laws, a constitutional amendment.

It should never have been legal. What an ugly ugly world where babies are killed, decapitated and torn limb from limb, because some idiot forgot to use a condom, take a pill, get a shot, put on a patch, or just close their legs...sheesh. What the hell is our world coming to anyway? How do you get away with paying someone to kill your baby before it even draws a single breath?
My opinion and of course I respect the pro choice bunch for
expressing their views as well. At least we can still do that.
Why all the thumbs down? Did I need to allow for "special circumstances?" There are none. I am about to be an aunt to a child conceived by rape. I support my sister's decision to keep her child. I helped her look into adoption as well. In the end, she made the choice to keep her little girl and is happy with her decision.

I am all for it, except I would be for it if the mother was truly at risk of dying as a result of the birth. Now with Cesarean Procedures being so common place I don't really see that happening much.

It is a great thing.
But they didn't make it Law today, they just voted to uphold the previous courts decision. Still a great thing though.
Women are more ruthless than men.
