Because they already control the dissemination of propaganda on the major networks. Of course they disguise it in the form of a phony lib v. con debate (divide and conquer is a tried and true method of control)
The Internet is the last bastion of free speech in America and the world, and the fascists control freaks simply cannot have that.

Big money wants to squeeze some profits out of it now that it is something most households use and power to control information so that common people don't have the free exchange of ideas that
gives them the ability to make informed decisions.
