These rumours have been going around for a couple months now. According to an Associated Press article from February 24, 2007 Zidane has denied looking to go to the MLS claiming to have found a "new life after retirement"

All that being said, it is not completely impossible that Zidane would come out of retirement to play in the MLS. Like many pro athletes on both sides of the ocean, he may get bored after two months of retirement and change his mind to seek a new challenge.

I doubt he would play with the Galaxy( my favorite team) unfortunately. I think the league would put him in a different market to avoid creating a "super-team" in the Galaxy. I am old enough to remember the old NASL and I think having the Cosmos stacked with all the best players( Pele, Beckenbauer, Chinaglia) hurt the league in the long run.

If he were to come to the USA, perhaps Chicago would be the place for him. He would likely be very marketable and spreading the marketable players around the league would make more sense instead of concentrating them all in one place. Alexei Lalas seems like an idiot anyway, he will probably run LA into the ground given the time. Chicago needs some sort of spark to add energy to their franchise and a world class player and famous player could do just that.

If thus she is since they can give a good amount him of money to
return to play and the rumors can be reality, also Chivas Usa looked for it.
