if your short of memory buy some more.... Virtual memory is using your hard drive space the more you give virtual memory the less space you will have on your hard drive...

the best way to give yourself more memory with what you have is close all the programs down the your not using.. in other words don't have them starting up when you boot up your computer...... these are the ones on your task bar on the bottom of the screen

right mouse click on them and close them down

Try this:
Start>right click my computer>properties> Advanced Tab> click settings in the performance box>advanced tab there>Change, at the bottom>set it to at least as much RAM that you have....
