Whatever Rosie O'Donnell preaches has almost no effect on what actually happens in the real world. In fact, the present mental health policy of making everyone possible into an outpatient was put in place during the Ronald Reagan Administration as an economy measure. As for the Duke "rape" case, lots of people bought into the public hysteria and prejudged the case, both liberals and conservatives. Meanwhile, the local DA, running for office, put the cart before the horse and indicted three young men without proper evidence to try and convict them. Rosie and the "liberal media" also have no responsibility for DA Nifong's conduct (or misconduct.) Voters will evaluate candidates on matters closer to home; the outcome in New Hampshire, Iowa, California, etc. will not be based on a Raleigh county attorney's screwup. On the other hand, the public is getting less and less enamored of the Iraq screwup and the people who screwed it up...

I am of neither party but I don't think you can blame them for someone having mental problems and shooting a place up. Blame the person who did it. I have said it before and I will say it again, he could have used a bomb and killed just as many people or more. If someone wants to kill they will kill no matter what weapon they are using. Point the finger in the right direction.

I am sorry you are so diluted. All anyone wants is fair treatment and justice. I personally never thought the Duke thing smelled right. I'm glad the issue came out on the side of what's right - it is unfortunate those men will go through life with the stigma. I think you're on crack as it relates to your comment about concealed weapons. I think your parents should apologize for your behavior, because it's obvious you know not what you say.

How would allowing concealed weapons have prevented the massacre? It would probably have facilitated more such events, surely. I call shenanigans.
Surely the perpetrator of this horrific event is the one to blame and trying to shift the blame for political points so soon after the event is, to be honest, morally deplorable. Have you no shame?
