No one can be truly happy while so much war, poverty and violence exist. Yet some of the happiest people are those who have least, material wealth does not make you happy. No one can be truly happy while others suffer. It is possible to feed the world with our resources, end war and love each other. Can we start now?

that is difficult to quantify seeing as the measure of happiness or sadness is a personal thing and some people are happy people and some aren't and some are a mix of the 2.
If you mean the world as a planet then I didn't know planets had feelings

Think the world and the people in it have the potential to be happy but because money is so important in this world, we tend to get stuck in things that make us unhappy.

I think it is becoming a very sad place. And is getting worse, the majority of the human race is so fickle.

the world itself is fine, it's the people that make it happy, or rather sad. In fact humankind have made this wonderful world a misery.

It depends on your eyes.
If you are blind, the world is a happy place to you.
If your eyes are opened and your senses are in use, you see the truth of the world.
Actually you dont have to be blind to see the world as a happy place, you might just be heartless

World as such is not happy or sad.But people are happy or sad.The Western Countries are stated to happy because they are wealthy.But if you analyse, each person has his own world,in which he can be happy or sad.You can choose your world,because happiness is mind,it is purely a state of mind.
Be happy in your world.

It depends who you ask and on any given day...
i personally don't view it as either happy nor sad... just tired. Really, really tired.
