There is not a real number that multiplied times itself gives -77
We must use imaginary numbers (are you there yet?)
If so, anwer is i*sqrt(77)
which does not reduce

If you are still with reals, then no solution

Get out the calculator!...-8.7749643...but since it's a negative number there is an error.


For negative real numbers, the concept of imaginary resulting in 'complex numbers'....
