I have absolutely regular cycle.However this month i spotted as much as a dot for 4-5 days why did this happen

i have taken pre test 3 times all are negative.Iam not on birth control pills.

Could you be pregnant? If you've missed a period or if it is due any day now you might want to take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning to first rule out that possibility.

Barring that, spotting can sometimes occur due to contraceptives (if you are taking them), intercourse, a gynecological exam, cyst or some other minor health problem. If you are not pregnant, I would call an OB or nurse and chat with them about what you experienced.
