i have a antiuqe beaded purse the smallest finest bead work i have ever seen it has a flag with 13 stars and on the other side a dear with huge antlers i was wondering what it means

In 1924 we had 48 states, Alaska and Hawaii weren't states yet.

We currently have 50 states, of which Alaska and Hawaii were added in 1959. Before that, the two most recent additions had been Arizona and New Mexico, the last of the lower 48, which were added in 1912. Therefore, there were 48 states as of 1924.

Well, in 1924, there were 48 states. Arizona was the 48th state in 1912, Alaska was the 49th state in 1949. Even by 1791 we had 14 states (Vermont)
The 13 stars most likely represent the 13 colonies - this is an american flag, correct? As far as the deer with antlers... i don't know. maybe you could take it to an antique dealer?
