Lemon juice and house paint are heterogeneous, in that they are opposite or dissimilar in character, and quality structure. They are disparate, which is unequal or completely different. In this question, we are being asked to compare the two things. You can't say that lemon juice is homogeneous, period ! It has to be homogeneous as compared to something else, or not.

We would hope that our paint was homogeneous, the same all the way through, otherwise it would look different in different places. We do need to stir it to use it. It is considered a colloid.
You need to mix lemon juice also because stuff settles. When we use it we would want it to be the same all the way through, but as it comes out of the bottle or the lemon it has pieces that settle.

I've seen lemon juice separate out into solids and liquids, so I'd say it was heterogeneous.
The same is true for latex paint -- you have to constantly stir it for best coverage. It doesn't stay mixed (homogenous).
