I know if I was going to school there and was allowed to carry my Glock, we would have had one shooter down, as soon as I heard this crap going down.

Perhaps a lot less, but we will never know, so its useless to play the what if game. Just because students carry guns, do you think that makes them any braver or more able to act rationally in a situation like that? How much gun training does the average gun owner receive or sign up for? Are you aware of the fact that the age group that makes up college students represents the largest amount of alcohol comsumers in the naiton? The largest failure here lies on the police dept of the University. There ineptness was pathetic.

Remember Vice Principal Joel Myrick? He had his Colt .45 in the trunk of his car and had to run out to get it while a shooter was in his school killing kids. Luke Woodham shot nine students with a 30/30 which had to be reloaded each time it was fired. He was very close and heard the first shot. He he had to make a mad dash to his car to get a weapon. of course, high schools are no gun zones. Pretty safe for homicidal maniacs huh?

How many more would there have been if all VaTech students were allowed to carry concealed weapons on campus and in the surrounding bars during the past few years?
Ask Marcus Vick.

The shooter shot 2 students first then came back 2 hours later and shot the other 31.
Had a few LAW ABIDING citizens been carrying, he would likely have only shot the first 2.... if that many.
But alas, it was a gun free zone, which meant only criminals were carrying fire arms ........

You pose a stupid and unrelated question. How many less people would there be if the shooter had a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast? It's about as pertinent.

I know, right? However, even if any of the students had owned a gun, I can guarantee you that they would not have been allowed to have them on campus due to the liberals that are in charge of colleges nowadays.

How many less deaths would there be in VA if people read the signs of a person about to snap instead of dismissing him as harmless merely because he's of Asian decent and "they don't cause trouble".
