Go to the school you would like to attend, discuss your situation with the principal or guidance counselor, and ask them what you can do. Be sure to tell them you were in honors classes. You may have to make an appointment and return later, but don't let that discourage you. Principals and counselors are incredibly busy these days but that isn't a brushoff. You are still within the age of compulsory education, so they will definitely want to talk with you.
Good luck to you, and congratulations on having the intelligence to want to make something of yourself. By the way, you are already "something" terrific!

Go to the high school you would attend and ask. In many high schools they decide on a case-by-case basis. You don't say why you dropped out, but I know in the case of our local high school that is a big factor. Also, considered are:
Why do you want to come back?
Are there any disciplinary problems to be concerned with?
Your age. You say you were in honor classes, but dropped out at 15 without earning any credits. Most kids your age are getting ready to graduate. There is a discrepency there.
If you are not able to attend a regular high school, there are alternative high schools you might try. And of course, there is always the GED, which is no small feat.
I wish you all the best. It takes a lot to admit your mistakes go back to school, when everyone your age has moved on.

you may have to go to adult ed and get a GED. If you were to do four years of high school you would be 21 or 22 when you graduate and I think that is over the age limit. You should call the school and find out what you can do. You can get into college with a GED..... I did.

You can enroll in highschool as a Freshman, take as many credits as you can handle and graduate early. Or, you can study t.he GED Test book, available in bookstores, and take the test. If you pass, you get the educational equivalent of a high school diploma. Good to hear someone who realizes a good education is the foundation.

You would have to talk to the school you want to attend and ask them what the guidelines are.
Being 17, depending on the state you are in, you might have to enter Adult Education and go to night school.
The school would really be the only one to give you some advise being as rules are different state to state.
