Well let's see. I'm a liberal. Iran is run by a right-wing islamic conservative who sincerely believes the end of the world is near. Instead of Jesus though, its the Mahdi. He is anti-feminist like his fellow conservatives. He recently asked if the west had any "family values" for sending women off to war. He has called for the purge of liberal and secular professors from the universities. He is for traditional values, opposing birth control pills, and supporting mixing religion and government, and prayer in the school. That's the kind of country he runs.
Does that sound like an example of a liberal utopia?

Liberals can't even stand the fundies from home, much less the fundies abroad. You have to be pretty stupid to believe left-wing secular liberals support right-wing religious fundamentalists.
