Hi! my first child? I was two month gone before I found out...because I was still getting my period, I went to the obgyn because I had an abnormal period, (it lasted two days, stopped, and then came back and lasted 3 days) upon the pap smear they discovered I was pregnant. well, we tried again for six years, kept trying and trying, and well, nothing, until December, everyone in my family got the flu, so I thought I had the same thing, and also I'm anemic, so I was in for a blood check up, the doctor came in shaking his head, and it turns out I was pregnant, I thought it must have just happened since I got my period the month before, and was right around the time for December's Friend to show up, however, upon going to the obgyn... I was already 16 weeks gone, the answer from my doctor? "sometimes these things just happen" I still got my period for december, but it was only 2 days and very light, in January it stopped.

Yes, it is possible. Scroll down and you will see another question similar to yours.

If you're already having pregnancy symptoms, you should test now.

I personally had my period the first 2 months of my 1st pregnancy. I don't know how it's medically possible, but I want to tell people that it did happen. Since it happened to me, I have heard of hundreds of other first-hand accounts of it happening to other women.

Here is an article which also gives credence to what I'm saying.

For those of you who say I'm crazy, or want to dispute this, I want to say that it's more important to tell women it's possible, so that even if they are just getting implantation bleeding and confuse it with their period, they will still take a test, and take precautions, like eating right and not drinking or taking any drugs, because they don't think they are pregnant. If you can't at least support that, then you are just being argumentative for the sake of being "right", and unfortunately, putting unborn babies at risk.

Well, even though it is not very common, you can get your period during pregnancy. My sister had hers during the first trimester, but that was with both pregnancies. If your periods stopped immediately with your other pregnancies, I would guess this is not likely for you. That's not saying it can't be true, every pregnancy is different. Maybe you are just sick or you have been thinking about being pregnant, so your body is giving you these symptoms. You could take a hpt. But, with your symptoms seeing a doctor may be better, because if you are not pregnant, you are most likely sick.

I have heard of people getting their period during early pregnancy. However, to already be having symptoms of morning sickness and tenderness around your uterus...perhaps thats not what it is. This situation would really concern me so i would definately be heading to your doctor for a blood test. If its not a pregnancy then you will be better off finding out what it is rather than waiting another month.
Good Luck

Yes it is possible to have your period while pregnant. I have heard of a couple stories like this where pretty much until the baby was born they didn't know they were pregnant because they had their period the whole 9 months. Scary but true.

One of my good friends had their period about half way through their pregnancy. I would suggest to see a doctor because if you are not pregnant, then obviously something else is going on, and you need to know what that is as soon as possible. Good luck

I guess you need you ask yourself was this a NORMAL period for you. Did it come when it was suppose to? Was it normal flow?
Usually if you get a normal period you aren't pregnant. Although you can have some bleeding or spotting in the early stages of pregnancy.
I'd ask a doctor.

I have heard of women 'getting their period' through an entire pregnancy, I would take a test. Good luck!
