Radon decays into radioactive polonium and alpha rays, and this emitted radiation made radon useful in early cancer therapy. The gas was sealed in minute tubes called seeds or needles, and implanted into the tumour. The diseased tissue was thus destroyed in situ by the radiation.

I think the value will be negative. There are no commercial uses that I know of. People pay to have radon extracted from their homes. Nuclear reactors have to store radon for extended periods until its activity has died down.
