Neither of them has ever done anything for anyone but themselves. Everyone knows this. Black people know this. The media loves Jesse and Al because controversy sells.

What I really wish is that non-black people would stop acting like those two speak for all black people, or that any of us are actually paying attention. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are not "black leaders" nor do they represent the "black community". And as long as random media pundits continue to stick cameras and microphones in their faces, black people as a whole do not have any control over what comes out of those two idiot's mouth's. Why is this so hard for the rest of you to understand?

How in the world does sharpton get the support of obama, the news media, opra and other well thought of americans?
Jesse was discovered fathering a child with his secretary! What does the bible call that?
Call into sharptons radio show and ask him what he has accomplished for struggling black americans and find out how long you will be on the 'air'.
None of these preacher pimps understand SHAME.
Will sharpton spearhead blacks banking with black banks to counter act institutionalized racism? Hell no!

Jessie Jackson help get 22 American hostages out of Cuba, in 1988, plus 26 other people, so when a person says niether has never done nothing, they are ignorance. People should check facts before opening there mouth about thing they know nothing about

Google "Al Sharpton Puerto Rico", "Al Sharpton Haiti", "All Sharpton Jena 6". He does have a huge mouth and can be slightly severe yet he has stood for some sturdy issues. (and that i'm black.)

From what I've seen and heard, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have only helped themselves, and sometimes at the expense (and embarassment) of others. The two of them set race relations back 30 years everytime they open their mouths.

The only ones they help are themselves. Unfortunately they and the likes of them incite racial problems where there are really no problems.

No one has to be a victim in this day and age but it is too politically and financially profitable to keep telling them they are being victimized.

Race relations would not be a problem in today's society if the likes of them were not stirring up trouble and creating problems where there are none.

He has given me a lot of laughs.
The more I learn the more I am finding out that those two don't speak for the majority of black America.
They only stir the pot because it keeps them in a job.

Hah if you were a slave for centuries and then denied equal rights as a citizen until 1964 how would you feel? Would you all of a sudden wake up one morning, scream "I'm free." and immediately adapt to the white person's culture?

President Johnson's "Great Society" was an historical mistake. Please understand and give blacks some more time.

Nothing. As you've noticed, he likes to stir the pot & divide the people. I guess he wants things to be the way they were.

NOthing. I think you nailed it on the head. The democrats should be ashamed having Sharpton and Jackson shilling for them. I think if I got near either of them I'd have to go take a shower to get the sleaze off of me.
