The value of the coin depends on several factors. Is there a mint mark? It would be below the date if there is one. What type of condition the coin is in and what is the color of the coin. The color of copper coins can be graded as brown, red and brown or red.
Without this additional information it would be very difficult to give you a fair estimate of the value. This is especially true in terms of the mint mark for this year. The value ranges from a few dollars to several hundred.
I would suggest going to a coin dealer and seeing what he says. You could also get a grading book from your library and try to determine a grade for yourself. With the grade it is pretty easy to get a value.
By the way wheat cents were minted from 1909 thru 1958.

Since the mint mark is below the date, you would easily see it. That being the case I will take it as a plain 1914. It 's value is .25 in low circulated grade (lines in wheat heads missing) to $10 in high circulated grade (all lines are in the wheat heads). Values are about what a dealer would pay. Hope this helps.

Of course it is, i collect coins, and knowing that anything created before 1983 is pure copper, and wheaties were stopped in 1967, it would definitely be worth a lot, get an exact price at a trade shop or jewler, but if you don't you'll know that it is really valuable

It's worth about $100, most likely even more. That's pretty good for something that had been worth 1 cent.

The one way to be sure is to take it to a reputable appraiser of coins. Just don't try to use chemicals to brighten it up or polish it, because that will actually hurt the value.
