Are tanning bed tans ever fake looking or will it look exactly like a real sun tan?

they look exactly the same because both of the tans come from uv light...there isn`t a difference in color at all...

Tannin beds do look natural, unless you have very pale skin and you tan too much, you turn out orange. Some skin isn't meant to tan, but if you don't have that problem then yes they do look natural. The only problem about tanning beds is that you don't get vitamin D, which you would naturally get from the sun.

It will look like a real tan.. uses certain rays that the sun has or something but I wouldn't go to them too much ! They are dangerous and can cause cancer so just be careful how many times you go - Why don't you get a spray tan ? Yeah they're dearer and dont last as long but atleast they're safe on your skin.

It's not the beds that turn you orange; it's the self tanning lotion. The beds give you a normal bronze looking tan. I tan..trust me. Good luck!

ideally they look real as long as you use them in moderation.... if you start going everyday in the middle of december everyone is going to know your tan if fake.... you can get a good base tan with them for a natural glow but remember they aren't good for your skin just as real tanning isn't.... i always recommend using a good sunless tanner to protect your skin and keep it colored

I dont think so; though I guess in the long term it looks slightly better than the scar from removing a melanoma, so its a question of rough with the smooth I s'pose
