On Monday, I went to return a pair of jeans I had purchased at Sakes. Although I had the receipt, the clerk told me that, without an I.D., she couldn't refund the money. "What!?! No I.D., no refund?", I asked. The clerk then explained that it was the store's policy for purchases over $100. Luckily, I happened to have my I.D. in my pocket. It was a lesson for me to be sure and carry my I.D. with me always.

On Monday I had planned to go to Sakes to return a pair of $100 jeans I didn't need. I went to the store to return the jeans but the worker there informed me that I would need an ID to return any purchases over $100. It must have been my lucky day because when I looked in my pocket, there it was! I gave the worker my ID, got my money back, and left. I know now that I should always carry my ID with me wherever I go.

The paragragh contains sentences plus some fragmented sentences and run-ons. There are a few misspelled words as well. If you usually write with these kinds of mistakes, a paragraph written by me would not help. Nonetheless, I will rewrite your paragraph in order for you to see how it should be written.
Your Version [suggestions or errors]
Monday I had planed (planned)
to go back to Sakes
to take back a pair of jeans
I did not need. (wordy)
I went to the store
[and try<-------don't use try] to get my money back.
When I got to the store
[to take them back,<---we know this already]
The Store lady [clerk is better]told me
that I needed to have an id
to retuned them. [msp. return]
I ask the lady [I asked the lady]
why I needed an id just
to take the jeans back. [you are writing broken English, is there a reason?]
You need an Id
because they are over a 100dollors. [should be one-hundred dollars]
The Store policy is that
if its over a 100dollors
that we need an Id
to retuned your items.
So I looked in my pocket
in it must have been my lucky day [your lucky day is not 'in' your pocket]
because there it was.
I give her my Id
got my money back
in left [and instead of 'in']
I know now that
I need to have make sure to have[one or the other, not both]
my id always.

"Monday I planned to go to Sakes and return a pair of jeans I didn't need."

When I got to the store to take them back
The Store lady told me that I needed to have an id to retuned them.
"When I got to the store, the lady working there told me that I needed to have my id with me to return them."

I ask the lady why I needed an id just to take the jeans back. You need an Id because they are over a 100dollors.
"I asked the lady why i needed an id just to take back the jeans, and she told me that it is store policy for items that are over $100."

So I looked in my pocket in it must have been my lucky day because there it was.
"It must have been my lucky day, because when I looked into my pocket, there it was."

I give her my Id got my money back in left I know now that I need to have make sure to have my id always.

"I gave her my id, then got my money back and left. I know now that I need to make sure I always have my id."

There ya go.

Monday I had planned to go back to Sacks to take back a pair of jeans I did not need. I went to the store to try and get my money back. When I got to the store the lady told me that I needed to have some ID to return them. I asked the lady why I needed an ID just to take the jeans back. She said, "You need an ID because they are over $100. The store policy is that if its over $100 that we need an ID to return your items." I looked in my pocket and it must have been my lucky day because there it was. I give her my ID got my money back and left. I know now that I need to make sure to have my ID always.

You know, there is a spell check feature here. You could have at least used that. You are very repetative. You say you're taking the jeans back about 10 times in the paragraph, which is unnecessary.

Better:
Monday I had planned to go back to Sacks to take back a pair of jeans I did not need. When I got there, the clerk asked to see my ID. I asked her why she needed it and she replied that it was store policy for returns over $100. I looked in my pocket and it must have been my lucky day because there it was. Once I showed it to her, she gave me back my money. I know now that I need to have my ID on me always.

Monday I had planned to go back to Sakes to take back apair of jeans I did not need. When I got to the store to take them back the employee told me that I needed to have an ID iust to take the jeans back. You need anID because theyare over a 100 dollars. The policy of the store isthat ifthe item is over 100 dollars that you need an ID to return the items. As I looked in my pocket it must have been my lucky day because there was my ID. I gave her my ID and got my money back.I left knowing that I always need my ID for identification purposes for returns.I just change a few things mainly spelling mistakes.

Not to be mean but there is quite a few mistakes.. Some spelling and some gramatical. start here,,,,

When I got to the store to take them back, the store lady told me I needed to have an ID to return them. I asked the lady etc.,,,,,, She told me that the store policy was that if an item was over a hundred dollars then an ID is needed to recieve your money back.,,, etc,,,, I gave her my ID, got my money back, and left. After that experience, I now know that I should carry my ID with me at all times.

Monday I had planned to go back to Sak's to take back a pair of jeans I did not need. I went to the store and tried to get my money back. When I got to the store to take them back, the store lady told me that I needed an I.D. to return them. I asked the lady why I needed an I.D. just to return the jeans. She said, "You need an I.D. because the jeans cost more than one hundred dollars". The store policy states that if an item costs more than a hundred dollars the customer must have an I.D. to return the item. So, I looked in my pocket. It must have been my lucky day because there was my I.D. I gave it to her and got my money back and left. Now I know that I always need to carry my I.D.

On Monday I had planned to go back to Sakes to take back a pair of jeans I had bought but did not need. I went to the store and asked what I had to do to obtain a refund. The assistant told me that I needed to have some form of identification and the receipt I was given following payment, in order to return them. I asked her why I needed identification in addition to the receipt just to take the jeans back. She explained that it was because the jeans had cost over $100 and Store Policy was that if items costing over $100 are being returned, the purchaser must produce identification and proof of purchase in order to return them. This is a security measure to help prevent fraud. I looked in my pocket for suitable identification and the receipt, which I found, and was able to show them to her. Because of this I received my refund and am now aware of the need to follow this procedure when returning anything in the future.
