were having our concert may 1. i have a problem with it. we have to stand on risers and im on the 3rd row. second to last. i get really dizzy when im up there. i almost fainted today. i told the teacher and he wants me to stay up there. i heard bending your kness slightly helps. but it hasn't been working! help! im gonna faint! how can i prevent being light headed and dizzy?

Why not talk to the teacher privately and tell him it's not about singing, but about the fact that you're getting dizzy when you're on the risers. If you do this in a calm, matter-of-fact way you may have a better result.

i have the same problem. bending ur knees should help but if it doesn't you might have a more serious problem then just fainting so u might want to see ur doctor. what helps me is to make sure i eat breakfast, and my doctor told me that i needed more sodium or something?? soo i try to have some salt...

just dont go to the concert or otherwise tell the teacher again and if he wont move u then just ask a friend to switch with u and if the teach has probs then screw him.
