Are they telling us that our military is that easily weakened? I was always of the opinion that our military didn't need everyone patting it on its collective head all the time in order for it to be effective. Are we now admitting, as a nation, that our soldiers are inherently weak and are only made strong by unanimous support by their countrymen?

Wow! I wish I could have come with your question. To me the military is just as weak or strong as its leader. Just look at the commander-in-chief, a man, no, a person who joined the Air National Guard to avoid service in Vietnam. So what kind of a leader does that make him?

The right wing just wants you to shut up and do what you're told. Thinking is for the rich, those who do not agree have no right to their opinion. You are expected to blindly follow the president - he's the president so he MUST know what he's doing.

Of course that all changes when a democrat becomes president.

It's just another scare tactic, because when it comes to drumming up support for the war, all Bush and his gang knows is either scare people into continuing the charade, or question their loyalty and support for the troops.

They can dissent all they want but when the tell the world we are losing the war and need to bring our troops home, they are undermining the efforts of the military and emboldening the enemy.

no. but the anti-military position adopted by liberals just doesn't weaken our military, it comforts our enemy. it gives teh enemy a reason to fight longer and harder. it encourages them to kill more of our soldiers.

liberals who do this are traitors to the U.S.... plain and simple.
