Pork that has been roasted slowly until it's so tender they can just pull the meat off the bone without using a knife. It's usually done in a barbecue, but some places use an oven. It's good.

Take a Boston butt roast. Season with lots of garlic, salt, pepper and other spices to taste. Braise roast in pot, reduce heat, cook until done. Cool. PULL of bone. That's pulled pork.

Take a good bun and barbeque sauce, add a cold beer, and you've got a feast.

It's slow cooked pork that has been "pulled" off the bones, because it is so tender.

I love a good BBQ pulled pork sandwich... Mmmmmm!

Pulled pork is just that... pulled. The meat is pulled off in pieces, rather than being ground or shredded.

Shredded pork(cooked long and slow) usually with a sauce and quite tasty if done right.

If cooked correctly, pork will practically fall off the bone. You can just pull it off, rather than cut it.
