Jenna Bush purchased a ranch in Paraguay, which has no extradition agreement with the US. I expect the Bush family will retire to that ranch, in the event Jeb Bush does not win the election in 2008.
If Jeb wins, he'll just pardon Bush, Cheney, Rove, Scooter, and gang.

I think people will remember Bush as the person who started the Iraq war. If he's smart he'd refrain from making public appearances since currently people don't approve of him. He'd have to do something extra charitable to gain back the trust of America.

Bush may remain in the center of popularity... for his dumb ideas. Yes, after 2008 he will be the center of attention, but he cannot become president again, so after awhile he might as well be forgotten. Unless, of course he does something fascinating.

I think he will probably try and stay out of the public spotlight but I do not think he will become a recluse.

Probably something in between. He doesn't seem the type to be out helping tsunami victims like his father. Maybe he'll move to Dubai and work there as a consultant.

The public won't let him be a figure like they aren't letting him now. He probably will end up in his camp ignoring the world.

If I were him I'd hide under my bed forever.He just better make sure his maid cleans out the dust so no men get made under there and rise against him.
