And since when does the holocaust only refer to one event in history? Holocaust means: A burning by fire, a conflagration, an offering to the gods. Does this mean all those jews were being offered to God?

Why is it that jews get very defensive in the face of evidence that the shoah might have been exaggerated or based on something other than fact? Why do they become defensive when told that probably fewer than 100,000 were killed at Auschwitz, rather than the four million they first claimed? Any reason for that?

Dylan, what YOU should do is try to understand the question and not advise me what movies to watch. Get it?

answer: first answer grew to become into properly suited, gun administration grew to become into between the Nazis' techniques of controlling human beings. human beings wanted to disbelieve how terrible issues might desire to get - an excellent form of Jews have been integrated into the German lifestyle and did no longer have faith their very own government might turn against them. each and every step the Jews theory grew to become into the worst and final until eventually they have been helpless to act as a team. Jews had survived pogroms in the previous - massacres at particularly some factors from Christians in Europe (oftentimes around Easter), they theory the Nazis have been merely short=term bullies and that they might ease up on the Jews. They have been incorrect. Its a mushy difficulty between Jews and supporters. possibly asking why Jews did no longer do something felt too very equivalent to 3 attackers who state the Jews introduced it on themselves (oftentimes for particularly some motives). some Jews did combat back, there have been partisan units of Jews and others fled (the step-mom of our oldest pal escaped Stuttgart, Germany)

no the jews weren't offered to god. hitler was trying to wipe their whole race out because he thought they were trying to dominate the world. it was a terrible thing to do and even though i'm not jewish i know that many jews are still sensitive to answer questions about it because they probably had relatives or something like that in the holocaust. i'm sure not just jews are angry about it too. the holocaust only referse to one event in history because the holocaust is the event in which the jews were murdered and that was the main thing of it.

Are you serious. Why are the so upset, maybe because there were 6 million people killed all because of there religious beliefs, 6 million people. what you should do is you should rent and watch "Paperclips" it's a story about elementary student collecting 6 million paperclips to represent every life that was taken in the holocaust.

I've never detected that they are sensitive about it, as in reluctant to discuss it, after all they say "Never again" and you would eventually forget it if you didn't talk about it.
Its ironic you say "an offering to God" because the theory of Nazi-ism is an atheistic one. I don't believe you could advance very far in the Nazi party if you were known to be a church goer. I dare say if Nazi-ism had triumphed, devout Christians would have wound up on their hit list eventually.
I would recommend you watch a video series called "Shoah." It was, for me, so painful, so horrific in its pornographic detail, I had to stop watching after two hours. (Its nine hours long.)

The word HOLOCAUST is a Greek translation of the Hebrew OLAH which means the penis going up into an erection. Now if you know this fact, wouldn't you also be sensitive questioning about it? Read Swedish fact sheet PORNOCAUST which gives you the full semantics.

I am Jewish, I do not hate Germans, but I do not like them.
They killed 6 MILLION People, and for no reason, just because they are Jewish, what kind of reaosn is that?
Who isn't mad about that???
How would the Germans like it if we killed 6 Million of them just becuase they are German? They would not like it at all.
It's such a tragedy I curse Hitler. Hitler is a *********. He shoved them in ovens, in Ghettos, In showers, shoved tons and tons of people.
I was in a Holocaust play.
SO many people still had hopes and dreams.
SOme of the people were still babies, such, such a tragedy.
A life is worth too much, Hitler didn't understand that. The Nazis just got brainwashed, but I curse them too, but some of them are kind, and good, but some of them are pure evil.
Hitler wanted to abolish us off the Earth, But he didn't succeed, because we had God on our side.
I can't talk about this anymore, tears are coming to my eyes.

Because six million of their cousins were murdered for no other reason than they were Jews. If you don't get that, then you really will never ever understand the Jewish people.
