I asked this question because I am a Bengals and tory James fan. (He had 8 int's two yrs ago, only Ed Reed had more and he was DMVP). Many Bengals fans were calling for James to get cut even though we are thin at CB, too. I was sad to see him go. I wanted to know if Pats fans were glad to get him. Oh well, at least he has another fellow Bengal to talk to in Kelly Washington.

yes, he's a smart player, If Samuel gets greedy and holds out, we have a replacement, and if he doesn't he can cover 3rd WR or TE, or like switch with Hobbs

good move

Tiffany, your an idiot, and you clearly dont know what you are talking about. The pat's have always been good because they dont sign big super starts who are jerks. They are a true team. Tory james was a good choice because they need help at DB. Seing as how Asante might hold out.

Tiffany is an obvious Colts fan in denial...Yes, Tory James is a good addition...The Pats were thin at CB, and frankly that is why they lost some key games...well, that and Reche "Ricochet the Ball" Caldwell...Bring on the Colts...

They were definitely smart signing James because Asante Samual might hold out so they would need depth at corner back.

Very smart, insurance for Asante Sameul and he has at least 4 int's in his past seasons.

With James's incentive laden contract, heck yes.

He's cheap depth at a historically shallow position.

Would everyone stop talking about the crappy Patriots, there dynasty is over and there only going to get worse as the years go by, not better. face it patriot fans your teams time in glory is done and all you band wagon jumpers can go back to waiting for another dynasty team

And to your question I see it as a desperate move by bellichek to replace Samuel when he leaves this offseason

Yeah, he's a solid DB and they needed help at that position.
