ok here is the problem i have wanted to go into the navy since 9-11 hence the name navy girl 07 and i graduate this year but i am dating a wonderfull guy that i love so much but he tell me that he will break up with me if i even considered going into it anymore.

So, ask him "why?" Also, ask yourself "why?" Why do you feel so strongly about going into the Navy, and why does he so strongly not want you to? You try to make the best choices you can in life, but understand that you can't predict the future, no matter how strongly you feel about things today. In the end, make choices that _you_ think are the best; sacrificing your goals for someone else is not usually a good way to go, but if you think it's the better choice, then do what you feel is best. I would say, though, not to make such a significant decision until after talking it out with your boyfriend and (I would recommend) your parents or grandparents or some other adult you trust (just to get some perspective from people who've made lots of choices like that). Keep in mind that very few of the choices you'll ever make will force you down a single path in life - you can change course at almost any time, if you're willing to pay the penalties..

dump him! you have had your dream a lot longer than you have had him and if he cant deal with that then he doesn't deserve you anyways. no offence but most people break up after high school anyways
