I've been over it !!

But yeh it was true, though why they havent actually pursued the missions is beyond me. Actually, why they wasted so much money going there is beyond belief too.

I'm old enough to have seen the first moon landing and it
was a magical moment.
And they have done it again, quite a lot of people have
walked on the moon.
But it costs so much to land people on the moon, and there
is only so much you could learn from dust and rock that they
decided to stop.
There is radiation on the moon because the sun bakes the
surface and there is no atmosphere to block any of the sun's
rays.
The radiation from Chernobyl is a totally different sort of radiation ( that's radioactive ).
You'll need different suits.

there is a lot of radiatino in space, but it's a different kind of radiation than Chernobyl. There is alpha, beta and gamma radiation; some types are easily deflectable, while others aren't.

I remember some of the later moon landings of the early 70s, and I remember TV and movie special effects of the time. I don't think it was faked.

the cost of a moon landing is very expensive; you need to bring everything you need with you.

New scientist magazine recently published an article where scientists had discovered that certain levels of radiation arn't as deadly as first thought. I feel sorry for Buzz Aldrin and Co. they went to an amazing place but so many people don't believe them.

Shouldn't we be able to see the landing site with a high power telescope or use the Hubble to see the site. Thus putting an end to this question once and for all. Or would that cause more problems.

12 men landed and stayed up to three days I think. Even took an electric cart with them and played 1 ball of golf.
BTW the flag waved because of the exhaust blast upon takeoff.

A fiction novel called "Capricorn One" has inspired this urban legend.
Modern Liberals LOVE to say USA is phoney, baloney, plastic banana but gimme the good ol' USA any day over Russia with its new deal and "new" oppression of opposition and disappearances of opposition.
If dictators think you're too loud in opposing them...YOU just vanish one day...never to be seen again. Not seen in America unless you stand in their way of getting a political seat they desire and make them lamp-throwing ANGRY!

There's a lot of controversy about whether or not Neil Armstrong and his team really did land on he moon in 1969. For example, the American flag which was placed on the moon was waving. One problem - there's no air in space! Hollywood studio or moon? Only a handful of people on this planet really know the truth.
