When the baby is 1-2 years old. All babys develope at a different time and they tend to all catch up at age 5.

its really different for all children my daughter was 9 months when she started toddling around but my son was 14 months before he started toddling around but a baby can walk as early as 8 months...

when they are starting to talk walk do less baby things,i would say a year 2 at the most,i called my son a toddler when he started to walk..
mine is 6 now i still think of him as a toddler..
also another way is by size the T is for toddler
1T and up

It's never been an exact term, but generally refers to the period when an infant starts walking (toddling) to about age three.
Personally, I think toddlerhood ends when the child can outrun his grandparents. In that respect, my grandchildren are becoming more precocious.

Depends on where you are, I don't think there is a scientific moment when a child stop being a baby and suddenly becomes a toddler. My impression was when a child begins to walk, they are a toddler.
