Quit school and get a job. With no education it will be a crappy job and you will once again want to go to school.
After freshman year I didnt really want go back. I never really liked school. Worked in a factory it sucked (easy but very boring) with low pay. I couldnt wait to go back so I wouldnt have to do that kinda job again.

Make a daily list of what you need to do, then do it.
Make a brief short list of forseeable goals, then set up a little system of rewards that you will earn when you reach each goal.
Get up at the same time every morning, and exercise.
Go to bed at the same time each night. No partying, hanging out, talking to buddies, wandering around, playing foosball.
You may use free time for fun if and ONLY IF your daily list of what to do is finished.
Take a walk downtown and take a look at people with no job or dead end jobs. Calculate how much money you would earn if you lived on minimum wage. That will cause you to be "scared straight"
YOU WILL NEED TO WORK every day of your life until you retire or die. You might as well start now and plan to get a job that you won't HATE someday..........
good luck

I know exactly how you're feeling. I'm almost done with my first year at community college and feel very unmotivated and undetermined, mostly due to the fact I had to take ridiculous prep courses that don't count as any credit hours = (
But anyway, try finding time to exercise. It releases stress and keeps you fit. Also, when you're studying and you start to feel like your mind is wondering, it's time to take a break. Go do something for a half hour / hour and then come back to your studies. Hope this helps!!

It depends on your major some what. But the best thing i can think of is to just remind yourself that you need this. You don't want to end up working at a McDonalds all your life ( tho there is nothing wrong with that, i mean some one has to work there). And the best motivation i think you can give yourself is the great oppertunities you can have when you finish your degree.

Speak to your academic advisor, and express your concern.
I was having the same problem while I was in college. I got pregnant in my junior year and have yet to return.
I was very unfocused before the onset of pregnancy though.
Speak with your advisor before it is too late (I definitely regretted that). Or even utilize the psychological services they offer at your university.

If you are a pot smoker -- stop immediately. It is interfering with your ability to concentrate.
If not -- then you may want to see a doctor or councilor to help you.
