If you look at all the polls and surveys done recently, no. But how many Americans actually care about that? The only opinion that matters is our own =/.

Steelgrave states the US does a lot for the rest of the world. I guess he did not mean invade and occupy foreign countries without provocation, detain and torture citizens, suspend habeus corpus, violate Geneva Conventions and rescind international treaties.
Actually, the US does not do all that much for the rest of the world. Of the top 20 industrial nations, the US ranks dead last in percent of GNP donated as foreign aid. WAY below most other nations.
Furthermore, we include military aid in our foreign aid budget, grossly inflating even that dismal number. Most US foreign aid is in the form of military support for the nation of Israel. Although I have no particular objection to giving Israel foreign aid, including it in the budget smacks of deceit--same as NOT including Iraq war costs in the federal budget.
To answer the question (at long last), no, George W. Bush has no credibility with the rest of the world. Too many americans don't give a damn what the rest of the world may think. We feel we can act unilaterally, and with impugnity. If we elect even a brief succession of leaders like George Bush, it won't be long before we are no longer #1 in the world, and may be overrun for our past transgressions.

I think they only show respect to him because he is the elected president of the United States of America. In other words they respect the position, but not the man.
One of the great things about our government: It changes.
The rest of the world (my limited view comes from people and time in the Middle East, USA, Australia, Japan and a few people in France) are kindly waiting for a new president and hopefully a new approach by the new president on foreign policy.
EDIT:
We may be out of the top 20 by GNP donations by percentage, however; by actual dollar amount we are in the top 5!

that's fairly humorous how you will placed the load of america issues on purely the Shoulders of the president. all of us look to ignore Democrats and Republicans interior the living house and Senate are only as though not greater in charge for the subjects interior the rustic right now. With over a hundred and fifty armed conflicts happening interior the international right now how is it that america takes a murdering genocidal dictator our of means and we are the evil of the international? and of direction Bush did not placed us there on my own an just about unanimous vote interior the senate and living house placed us there too. and then a similar human beings tied the palms of our military and did not enable them to end the job in a well timed way. regrettably each and every of the human beings who're presently interior the working for president have contributed to our issues only as much as Bush has. So none of them are nicely worth a pile of dirt to me. If Ron Paul could run i could vote for him. yet no it is straightforward to like him the two because of the fact he will do what desires to be carried out to place this united states of america precise lower back. that isn't continually some thing human beings see as familiar.

When I truly feel that everyone else in the world has our best interests at heart than I will give a s--- what they think about us. Until then they can go pound sand. This nation does more for the downtrodden of this planet than most other countries combined. I could care less what credibility they view our President with, all I want is their thanks. And we'll get that about the same time as hell freezes over, so that's when I will care what they think.
OK Nathanovich: What the hell does percentage of GNP have to do with total dollars, because we are in the top GNP our percentage is lower, how does your percentage feed the hungry? Those statistics do not include philanthropic contributions by individuals which the US comes in in the top 3.

As President and commander in chief, I believe so. Other countries know that we have free speech and criticize all our politicians.

Do you honestly care what the rest of the world thinks about us? We have to do what we think is right. It's called moral courage.
