Why do you wear socks with sandals ?
I've never asked a guy this before...and I have only heard other women say it's cause you've got ugly feet so that's why !!! (Yes I know other women who wonder the same thing, but none of us have bothered to ask you men, which is why I'm asking here and now...it's less embarrasing to ask when you're not face to face)
What is the reason why ?

i have no idea why anyone would wear sox with sandals it kinda defies logic

I have never worn socks with sandals. I would think it would be uncomfortable. However, my wife claims that when we first got together, we went to the grocery store, and I supposedly wore dress shoes, black socks, and jeans shorts. I can't believe I would have ever done this, but she swears I did.

I have known some guys that get really sweaty feet even if they are not doing much to warrant sweating. Socks do a wonderful job masking this odor!

The toe strap or sides of the foot strap sometimes chaff the foot, donning a sock helps to avoid this.

That is a very good question. I guess some guys do that because they weren't held enough as a child, or maybe they were held to much, either way it is very tacky!

i do it, it's because i don't like my feet being exposed, but i usually wear shoes. socks just feel warm and comfortable, and safe.
