Well the blackhead strips are pretty cool and also pretty effective if used correctly. You wet the blackhead strip and make sure your nose is wet also so that the strip sticks to it...i wet it all over and make sure that i covers and forms to your nose. Then you let it get completely dry and it hardens like a cast...takes about 15 minutes or so...then you slowly rip it off and you can see all the black heads.
Also there is also a metal tool you can get from either a dermatologist or a drug store, i beleive sally hansen makes one, but i recommend getting it from a dermatologist because its better quality...anyways this tool is specifically for popping black heads without leaving scars or getting bacteria from your fingers in the black head...so it is supposed to prevent you from the blackhead turning into a zit...it has to sides both with looped metal that you press against your skin and then the blackhead comes out.
As for your nails..it depends how strong they are...if they are thin and brittle they will break as you grow them...in which you should put this stuff called "nail envy" them it costs about $10-15 and you can get it at any nail salon and most drug stores and it makes it strong. But if they are strong/thicket...it depends on the person. I find that mine grow to a pretty long length in about three weeks.

Hi ive tried blackhead removal strips and found these where ok but arnt worth the money. Clearasil isnt the best thing to use either. What you need to do is exfoliate the skin to scrub out the black heads. I use Clean and Clear exfoliating wash which is brilliant. If you can use this product then Apri make a apricot facial scrub, but I dont like this make as I find the little grains get stuck in the pore and then you cant get them out but in the Clean and Clear on they are just like little beads and I think they dissolve.
Some people recommend face masks the ones that peel to remove the black heads. I dont think these work but it does help to prevent Blackheads. Also if you get the Clean and Clear wash use this once a day and use the Blackhead clearing cleaners at the night time, or you can switch them around and use the wash at night. Be carefull as if you have sensitive skin they can irritate it a little but then you use it every other day. You will have them black heads removed before you know it with this stuff.

Yes ,Biore stripes will remove most of your blackheads. They're pretty easy to use. Just put a little water and attach it to you nose. Remove when dries. You will see a lot of blackheads tranfered to the stripe from your nose.
Also Neutrogena has an astringent "Black Head Remover" it's really wonderful!
About nails they grow everyday. The important thing is how to take care of them to keep them long.
The best way to have healthy nails is to start with a good nutrition. Make sure to eat healthy food like fresh fruits , vegetables, and cereals that contain vitamin C, B6, Niacin, and Biotin. Also good source of protein like lean meat, chicken or fish is important. What is for sure you might need iron supplements which are important for nail growth if you are a vegetarian. Another thing that works is to add 1 envelope of gelatin(7g) to your juice in the morning and drink it. Also don't forget to buff your nails with a 3 way buffer. This will help them grow since it improves circulation. Just make sure to follow instuctions from the packet or ask in a beauty supply store to tell you if haven't use it before.
If you follow this advice you will see the difference in a week to 10 days.

i use a tweezerman blackhead removal tool. I hated the biore strips. felt like I was ripping duct tape off my face and made my skin irritated. I use the tool right after I take a shower when pores have opened up. just gently press on skin and away they go.
you also need to keep your skin clean. black heads are due to clogged pores with oil, make-up, etc. So be sure to remove any make-up before bed and wash your face when you wake up and when you go to bed.
i have no idea about your nail question. As I do not bite my nails. they always grow pretty long, but when I break one they take a few weeks to grow out again.

save yourself some money and use baking soda. make a thick paste with baking soda and water but not so thick you cant apply it to your face. wash your face good with the hottest water you can stand to open your pores and then apply the paste. let it stay until it dries and starts to crumble off. take a wash cloth and wet it (of course) and wash the baking soda off of your face and then put a cold rag on your face to close your pores. do this in the morning and at night before bed and if you need to use a moisturizer use a good one that is not oily or one that does not clog pores. voila' your blackheads will soon be gone and all its costed you is a few cents for the baking soda.

OK, look at your cat. Count the claws. Usually 5 in each front, 4 in back. If you have 5 in back and usually 6 or 7 in front its a genetic defect. Used to be this occured only in one type of cat but that's not true. Nor is it found only in one country. Also not true. Ernest Hemingway's had tons of them at his house. Cats are fine. You will have to be careful and trim their claws. Especially a claw that seems to hang off the side of what would be the thumb. This can get ingrown and really hurt the cat. Paws look like a baseball mitt. They are supposedly lucky cats. Mine is. Mine is calico but others can have this. Our vet said to watch the claws, trim as needed, but no surgery was needed or indicated. If you google multi toed cats I found there were problems at Ernest's old house in Florida but it was an old story and don't know resolution. You'd think the feds had better things to do, but that's another story. Anyway, from looking at the web, sailors used to treasure these cats as they were thought to be especially lucky cats to have on board ship. The source I attached is a start, you can google the term from there. Cute kitten on the first page also.
