My ex-husband, yes I came to the point where I could forgive him for the abuse, but I'll never forget. My ex-fiance, I'm still scarred by that 3 years later. In a weird sort of way he did me a favor, but I'm not at a forgiving stage. I'll always hate him.

oh yeah,
i find it easy to forgive people who hurt me, but its hard to forget. some they tell me i am cold hearted, but its not just about the pain that this person brought on me, i dont dwell on that anymore, its all about the relationship that has smeared. i wont call a friendship fulifilling if there is something behind me that makes me hold back on the relationship. i forgive to enable to forgive myself in that process, its something i do for myself and for the other person. to let go of a grudge is literally hard but as you master the art of being numb (lol) everything will come to its right place. besides, i am really thick skinned. lol
