I prefer film, SLR...but I'm learning to work with a digital camera. I find that for high-speed pictures, the SLR works much better & frankly, I need the telescopic lens to capture some shots. But the digital is good for catching people, animals, nature shots almost as well.

I grew up with film cameras. When the digital ones came out I couldn't afford one, so I stuck with film. When I could finally afford a cheap digital one, I was amazed! I'll never have a film camera again. Plus it takes so long to get film prints back.

I have a digital camera and I personally think they are so much work. You run out of ink, your run out of paper. Its' good that you can download them and keep them on your computer but I'd rather take pictures with a film camera, have them developed in an hour and get as many prints as needed and then make different sizes on that photo machine that all the pharmacies have now. I know it costs some $ but so does the ink and paper for printing.

Digital is so much better than film. I can take as many pictures as I want (within reason) and delete any that turn out blurry or bad. It's also easier to store them and I can have the ones I want printed out. I can print them myself or, if I want higher quality, I can have them printed at the store or from someplace online (like myphotoalbum.com). I can also manipulate digital images before having them printed. Digi is much better. :)
