You can wear any kind of make up.
most people usually vary their make up according to what they wear.
Like if you feel like you're wearing all dark colors, you may highlight your eyes, or match it with your shoes/accesory.
There is no rule to it.. Play with colors, don't be afraid to experiment and settle for whatever you find pretty.

The color of your hair and eyes are important but do not forget the shape of your eyes has a lot to do with it also.
Some people have deeper set /shaped eyes than others and they have to wear colors that pop ( stand) out more.
Everyone else is right as far as the colors you can wear. Try not to do a lot of smoky looks because if you hair is already long and eyes dark then it hides you eye features.
Hope this helps.

The most important factor in choosing makeup colors is determining your skin tone. You want colors that match your skin tone. Here's how to determine your skin tone:
Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.
Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.
A few suggestions:
Blue makes brown stand out so you may consider wearing dark blue liner tight against your upper lashes with black mascara and a coat of blue mascara.
A more neutral look would be black or grey eyeliner w/ black mascara & a soft, champagne eye shadow.
Curl your lashes.

LUCKY!! You can wear any shade you want, although if you are dark complected I would stay away from browns, simply because they are hard to see on dark skin. Wines, grays, blues anything will look good on you. Match your shadow with your clothing. Lots of luck!!

Stick with light shades. Like tan, white, beige, yellowish beige. and for the darker shades go for torqouise, blues, greens, pinks, plums. eye line your eye with black eye liner top and bottom. This will make your eyes stand out and also black mascara but curl your lashes before mascara and apply of top and bottom. this adds your eyes a lift and pop.

Sounds like you might be a "winter." Stick with icy colors, jewel-toned colors, black and white. Be sure to finish off your eyeshadow with a blender brush so the colors won't look strong and harsh. A blender brush can soften the colors and looks of your eyes.

I would recommend lighter tones you balance with the darkness of your eyes, but don't let that sway you away from eyeliner! Eyeliner looks good on anyone if you know how to use it.
