I guess I'll be the only one here who has a real opinion and not caught up in the new america beliefs. Yes we should take their oil, better yet, we should have taken the land, the oil and control of the country durring the 90's Storm war. Im not sure why everyone decided that it would be better to destroy a country and then help them rebuild it, frankly, its one of the main reasons we are a broke country right now. The oil would refund the countless funds we have given to 90% of the world in which we have never seen a return on. The land under US control and law would provide a place to start stacking all the people who flea their countries to come the the US so they can complain non stop while the goverment gives them everything they need. Personally Im to the point where I say they need to close the gates if you get my drift. We are over populated and if we are not going to take the land & resources from the countries we are at war with like it used to be, then its time to stop letting the foreigner's come into this country using the resources we have left.

If you dont like the US, get out ! If you want to be here, support the goverment that makes it possible for you to have the "American Way" of life. If you have issues, by all means complain to your spouce but keep it out of the air for others to hear it. If you dont support the goverment and the armed forces (Rather you agree or not) then you just another enemy to us and should be handled that way !

Thats how I see it, the real American Way!

I personally oppose the war thoroughly, I think it was a horrible mission with even worse outcomes. But my opinion is simply this:

If we had to go into that war, and so-call liberate Iraq , then we should've helped them establish a new government. So we did and the government has officially now taken over and is on it's own feet. So now I think we need to leave.

If Iraq NOW chooses for us to stay, since they've asked us to go, then yes, we SHOULD charge them. It's just like hiring a consulting firm when you have a new business, you pay them to teach you how to do things because you are unqualified. If the Iraqi government can't get the concept of running itself by now and require US aide, then yes they should be required to pay us to consult them, with either money or a portion of Iraqi Oil Reserves ,at a lower cost to the US public ( WITHOUT INTERFERENCE FROM HALLIBURTON AND DICK CHENEY!)

It's true we invaded Iraq for oil purposes in the first place, but at the same time, the Iraqi citizens had been bitching for years about not wanting Saddam, though they never tried to stop him , minus the Kurds who were horribly unqualified. So if the Iraqis wanted an overthrow, and the US were the people to do it, then yes, pay up!

Remember, I say this as a Democrat who hates all aspects of this war, but if you're gonna be there, make it profitable for the US public.

There sure are alot of anti Americans out their If you are so Discusted with the way the War or the way the United States are being ran, You need to go to Iraq and live. If you feel we are so wrong in the way this country is run if you speak out in Iraq you are killed or your family is killed but because you live in this wonderful nation that allows you to get here and voice your opinion no matter how stupid your views are gives me that same right to tell you TAKE YOUR *** TO IRAQ we sure dont want you here.

Most of the people of Iraq don't want us there. We should not take their oil. We should not be there.

Tell me, if some country that does not agree with Bush. And sees how he has lied to the American public decides to come liberate us would we want them here?

I shall dare to say, Iraq do'nt want you except a handful of trators.

Best way for both Iraq and America.

Americans invaded Iraq. Iraq did not ASK Americans to come over. Americans invaded Iraq to kill it's people and destroy their country. People like you should be in Iraq rebuilding the roads and schools that people like you destroyed. I will personally give you a one way ticket.
