I thought he should have made it in the first year of eligibility but know it is getting ridiculous. Years have gone by and people keep not voting on this. Whats your take?

He was great, but he can't be considerd one of the all time greats.

I think a lot of people see him as just a pass rusher - a one dimensional player. I personally think he was a guy that made the opposing offense play around what he wanted to do. He was an absolute sack machine and could be a big impact on the game without even getting any tackles. His last couple years weren't that great and he was sidelined with injuries so that doesn't help his cause. I would like to see in the HOF, but I don't know if it will happen. Either way it was a shame that his career was cut short by a tragic accident. One of my favorite players of all time.

GO CHIEFS!!!!

Why? He had a couple great years, but 2 years do NOT make a hall of famer. Had he not killed himself by driving too fast on ice, and played a few more solid years, he would have been a 2nd or 3rd year eligible HOFer.

I think they will put him in since he played in 9 probowls. and was named to the all 1990's team. But it might take a while. (like harry Carson) Especially since Junior Seau will be in before him. I think what hurts DT is that he played his best games in the regular season and didn't seem to show up in the playoffs. He also played in a small market and never played in a superbowl. I hope they put him in but only after they put in Steve Atwater. IMO the best Safety of his era.

you are right , he deserves to be in the hall. no idea what these voters are thinking, look at the people they have put in the hall on the first ballot that do not deserve that honor while they drag their feet on people who deserve to be in. it is all politics. look at Otis Taylor and Johnny Robinson should both be in but not even mentioned.

It could go either way. But Derrick Brooks is guaranteed to go.

The HOF is blatantly biased against defenders. Until they own up to it, probably never.

I'm not saying whether or not he should go. I'm saying HOF voters are idiots.
