its taught when you are young, and Jesus is always shown as a white man. This is a racist way to get minorities to "worship" white people.

honestly i think this issue is miniaturized when you look at other problem with what where thought,

for example: just generally growing up being told bout racism and stuff i feel (almost afraid) to speak to say a black person or even say the words "black person" in case I'm seen as being racist. what a hypocrisy huh

Relax, its just a symptom. You should be more worried about how television showing whites as cops and blacks and Hispanics as robbers legitimizes state brutality against minorities.
I am an atheist, but i can tell you that the progressive has no better friend than the religious. We just need to show the religious that peace, equality and rebellion against unjust government are all in Jesus teachings, and they were the reason he was murdered.

I've seen art with Jesus as Black ( a lot), looking very Amerind, Aramaic (which is the probably accurate picture) and even Asian.

Even better, he was Jewish, not exactly a match for the ignorant red-necks of which you speak.

Jesus was Jewish. And from the linage of King David. He had dark Mediterranean skin. He most likely had a round face, dark skin. He was not white or black. He was somewhere in between.
