This past winter I took my son with a friend and his daughter. I put the skates on my son and he got so mad that he wouldn't even get up and try to skate. He just sat there on the floor - Big waste of money. But when we went over to the video games he was all for that. It just made me a little mad that he would'nt even try!

Wow. I'd say I was 15, which would be around 1988? It was fun, but the friend who drove me there took a detour to a party and didn't get me home until after 10 p.m. which my parents did not like!

About two years ago and I did a face plant in the middle of the rink... really embarassing considering we were there for an elementary school event for my ex's little sister.
